Since ancient times people have sensed powerful energies rising from gemstone
crystals. Some basis of this has been confirmed by the Russian scientist Peter Kirlian
who photographed organic and inorganic specimens seemed to be surrounded by a radiated
energy field.
In modern times, people use the energy coming from inside the crystal as a healing
force; working with crystal stones correspond to the main energy point of the body
which they know as “ Chakras ”.
The name of Chakra is taken of Sanskrit and translates to “wheel of
light” . They
are located in sensitive areas and influence the endocrine glands (hormone-releasing).
They are many minor Chakras, but only seven main ones each one of which associated
with one of the seven colors of the natural light spectrum. Also people could use
jewelry closed to the chakra associated with their physical or emotional illnesses

necklace, a chain and its pendent, broaches, amulets, a belt...)
1-The Crown of the head: Influence the cone shaped pineal gland in the brain.
It is the entry point for those energies that flow through the body and eventually
meet up with the root chakra. Color Violet.
2-The brow: Input energy at the brow chakra influences the pituitary gland.
This is the energy center most of spirituality and is the location of the subconscious
mind. Color Indigo. Jewell like a glasses frame.
3-The throat: The thyroid gland is influence by energy directed to the
throat chakra which is the seat of communication. Color blue.
4-The heart: Exactly over thye heart, is the energy center that motivates
emotions such as love and compassion. Its also influences the thymus which is plays
a major role in the immune system. Color Green.
5-The solar plexus: Energies absorbed at this chakra stimulate the pancreas
and liver. This is the center that controls how energies are exchanged with other
people. Color Yellow.
6-The abdomen: The Chakra of the spleen or lower abdomen its influence
on the spleen, the liver and adrenals.
It is the area associated with the instincts.
Color Orange. 
7-The base of the spine around the coccyx: The root chakra controls physical
vitality. The endocrine glands influenced by this chakra are the gonads. Color red.
Talismans are particularly associated with difficult times like childbirth. Pliny
writes that the stones must be wrapped in the skins of animals that have been sacrificed
and then worn as amulets by women of four footed creatures during pregnancy so as
to prevent miscarriage.
Algunos países en el Este y otros que bordean el Mediterráneo,
tienen un árbol conocido como Carot. Este crece en lugares áridos y
sus raíces penetran profundamente la tierra en busca de agua. Sus frutos son
largos hasta 30 cm con una envoltura que protege muchas semillas y un líquido
que asemeja la miel por su textura y dulzor. Si se secan las semillas y se muelen

Las gemas orgánicas e inorgánicas han causado siempre una profunda
fascinación en aquellas personas amantes de la orfebrería. Desde el
tiempo de los faraones ellas han sido valoradas por su belleza y también por
su valor. A lo largo de los siglos se le han atribuido poderes mitológicos
y curativos, por lo que no sólo han prevalecido engarzadas entre filigranas;
sino que incluso en diversos pueblos y a través de varias generaciones, se
han consumido como remedios benéficos contra enfermedades y maleficios. Inorgánicas
son aquellas que se originan de minerales duros con una estructura química
regular y orgánicas son las que se producen a partir de animales o plantas,
como por ejemplo el ámbar, las perlas y el coral, entre otros.
Se dice que el gran filósofo griego Platón, hace más de 2000
años originó una teoría en donde sugiere que la materia decadente,
como resultado de la influencia de estrellas y planetas, se convierte gradualmente
en gemas perfectas que actúan luego bajo la misma influencia de ellos emanan.
Esa teoría fue adoptada por muchos antiguos astrólogos y adivinos.
Los gnósticos y otros grupos religiosos empleaban estas piedras en sus ceremonias.
Médicos y curanderos les han utilizado para emitir fuerzas curativas.
Científicos modernos han usado piedras preciosas y otros cristales para generar
láser o para confeccionar instrumentos que requieren de gran precisión
y durabilidad. Algunas piedras tienen propiedades eléctricas bajo ciertas
condiciones. El cuarzo (cristal de roca) es transmisor de electricidad. Cuando está
sujeto a fuerzas mecánicas el cuarzo desarrolla cargas eléctricas en
su superficie, lo que le hace ideal para usar en encendedores de gas. La Turmalina
desprende energía eléctrica cuando se calienta, lo que le hace ideal
para la construcción de termómetros. También se usa en la construcción
de instrumentos que son capaces de calcular la profundidad y la presión bajo
agua.
Cat’s eye:
Cat’s eye stones have been a great value in India for many centuries. It is regarded
as a bringer of wealth. Encourage a sense of humor. Assist in childbirth and protect
them from evil spirits, cure rheumy eyes, keep teeth clean (applied as a powder).
Heal of sores. The Assyrian used it in effigies of their gods. For them this stone
is sacred and functional as charms again witchcraft and sorcery.
It’s presented with one or more stripes come up from fine crystalline filament laid
down in a parallel formation within the stone at the time of its formation. Pale
lines apparent moving under the light as a pupil of cat’s eye. Its effect is know
as chatoyancy. Some people say that it is an excellent talisman again Hypochondria
and all forms of emotional sickness.
The classic Cat’s eyes: When the sliced stone show a mineral called chrysoberyl,
which is coming from the Greek word for “golden”. The stone is usually colored on
a deep golden-yellow.
The Quartz cat’s eye: Some types of quartz are also common cat’s eyes stones; but
they are not so fine as the classic ones. Tiger Eye has a golden-brown and yellow
band of colors, like a tiger. The color is the effect of oxidization of the iron.
The Alexandrite Cat’s eye is a rare stone, green in daylight and purple under artificial
light.
